which gives the men excuses to play like boys, you obviously have to go racing!
Ashton got to ride with her "love bug". The 2 cool guys were serious about the race though Jackson was really upset he couldn't drive his own car.
The always cool GranBobby managed to race without loosing his hat.
Next, we headed to Gatlinbug. Mrs. Trip Planner (me) decided we should ride the trolley into Gatlinburg to keep from fighting crowds to park. Quite unlike me, I didn't read the route first, and we didn't get off at the aquarium thinking it would go further into Gatlinburg, but it just turned around and we had to go back to where we started. We were laughing the whole way! We then got off and drove our cars, forget that whole public transportation nonsense.
We walked up and down the strip. The highlight was the same thing I remember loving there as a child, the taffy pulling machine. Me and Kountry Kitchen taffy go way back. When we were reunited it was like we had never been apart until my stinkin' kids stole it and ate all of it!
We then had an awesome meal at TGI Friday's after which Will was showing off how handsome he looked in Mommy's shades. Seriously, he had an audience!
Jon decided to take Tyler and Jackson up the big needle. At the last minute Ashton decided to tag along, big mistake.
If you have boys or are married to one, can you guess what the boys had to do?
Of course, what boy could pass up the opportunity to spit from that high?Ashton thought it was neat for all of 2.5 seconds then proceeded to cry hysterically to be taken down.
Then it was back to the cabin for the women and 3 little kids while all the boys went to play golf, it was Father's Day after all! The course they played on was beyond beautiful being set in the mountains, but alas I have no pictures.
Day 2 down, stay tuned for DOLLYWOOD!
